Thornbury has very few street art locations on the 86 tram route compared to Northcote, but there are some great works to see in the lower and upper streets off the Thornbury section of High Street*.
What follows is not all there is to see; I have selected works that appeal to me. Also bear in mind that some works are replaced, added to or removed at times, so what you see here as of January 2013 may not all be there at a later time.
I will add artists names if they are known as I discover them or if others let me know.
* Note: Technically speaking, locations 1-5 are in Northcote though they are very close to the boundary with Thornbury which is a tiny suburb; I have put them on the Thornbury page for practical reasons of handling the large number of locations in Northcote.
As you progress down the page, the photographs commence at 86 tram stop 34 (McCutcheon Street | Bent Street) and finish just after stop 41 (Collins Street | Blythe Street/Thornbury Theatre).
