Melbourne, Australia is internationally known for its street art and its trams. Melbourne Street Art 86 imagines Melbourne's 86 tram route as though it were a giant open air gallery of street art with its own regular tram service. The pages in the dark blue side bar below have photos of street art by the suburbs the tram passes through. Locations are noted by tram stop, street location and also on maps of the area that can be downloaded or printed. Other Melbourne suburbs rich in street art are also featured.

Updates - Tuesday January 15
Melbourne - Bourke Street
I have added some of the photos from locations along Bourke Street in the City of Melbourne, from McKillops Street to Spring Street. I have only added two photos from Union Lane so far; there are so many pieces in this lane I have to sort through a careful selection to post here to avoid overwhelming the rest of the page.
Northcote - High Street
I have added photos from Seperation Street locations and also Little Eastment Street, but only the street art pieces on the back of the High Street shops. I will add those on the opposite side of Little Eastment Street later. I have also begun to rearrange Northcote, with the aim of eventually organising the sequence of photos from the Northcote Town Hall onwards to run in a loop along High Street, then Seperation Street, up Little Eastement Street and finally up to Eastment Street itself (returning back to the Town Hall).
I should finish the Collingwood - Smith Street map next.
